North Texas-based Good Good Golf receives backlash for viral ad
August 24, 2026
Good Good Golf, a Frisco-based golf apparel brand and content creator, faced widespread backlash after posting—and then deleting—an ad that showed co-founder Garrett Clark shoving employee Alexis Miestowski to the ground while telling her, “Do not touch my new driver.” Critics accused the video of making light of domestic violence, prompting the company to issue an apology stating the content did not align with its values and reaffirming its mission to make golf more inclusive.
Callaway Golf, which partnered with Good Good in 2023 and supplied the driver featured in the ad, also expressed disappointment and said it would work with Good Good to help ensure a more inclusive space in golf. wfaa
