The WNBA posted, then quickly deleted, a video showing Paige Bueckers and Angel Reese appearing to joke about a $400 bet on a Wings-Dream game. The league later said the post “missed the mark,” reminded players about its anti-betting rules, and addressed it internally; a league source said the players will not be punished.
The relevant CBA language bans players from wagering on WNBA games and gives the commissioner discretion to fine, suspend, or dismiss violators. FOS
