WNBA’s All-Star Game heading to San Francisco in July 2027

The WNBA announced that its 2027 All-Star Weekend will be held at Chase Center in San Francisco. This venue is home to the expansion Golden State Valkyries. The 3-point shootout and skills challenge are scheduled for July 30. The All-Star Game will take place on July 31.

Commissioner Cathy Engelbert cited the Valkyries’ record-breaking fan support as a key reason for selecting the Bay Area. The team also leads the league in attendance. They have recorded 41 straight sellouts.

Mayor Daniel Lurie highlighted the city’s momentum. San Francisco recently hosted the Super Bowl and FIFA World Cup matches. It also hosted the 2025 NBA All-Star Game. ABC News
