Women’s College Flag Football’s Biggest Weekend Crowns New National Champions at IMG Academy

May 12, 2026

Hosted by the RCX Sports Foundation, the championship weekend brought together top NCAA and NAIA programs

May 12, 2026 [ATLANTA, GA] /SPORTSWIRE WOMEN/ – The RCX Sports Foundation successfully hosted the 2026 Women’s College Flag Finals and NAIA Women’s Flag Football Invitational May 6–9 at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, bringing together women’s collegiate flag football programs from across the country for a championship weekend featuring competition across NCAA and NAIA programs.

Webber International University captured the 2026 Women’s College Flag Finals championship, defeating Alabama State University 24-18 in the title game to secure the program’s first Women’s College Flag Finals title under Head Coach Jeff Melesky. Webber’s Yasmin Lott was named Flag Finals MVP following the championship run.

In the NAIA Women’s Flag Football Invitational National Championship game, Warner University defeated No. 3 Keiser University 13-7 to complete a perfect 24-0 season and secure the first team national championship in Warner University athletics history. The Royals also finished the season as SUN Conference regular-season and tournament champions, while Warner’s O’Mariah Gordon earned NAIA Tournament MVP honors.

The championship weekend featured programs from across the NCAA and NAIA, following women’s flag football being added to the NCAA Emerging Sports for Women program earlier this year, a milestone for the sport’s collegiate development.

RCX Sports and the RCX Sports Foundation have continued to support the growth of girls’ and women’s flag football through initiatives including Females in Flag, launched in partnership with the NFL and NFL FLAG to help expand participation opportunities and competitive pathways from youth leagues through the collegiate level.

Since launching in 2021, the Women’s College Flag Finals have expanded to host programs from across the country, with previous host locations including Atlanta and Kansas City before arriving at IMG Academy in Bradenton. All games from the tournament were streamed live on BallerTV, the Official Streaming Partner of the 2026 Women’s College Flag Finals, with Gatorade, First Watch Restaurants, RALLY, and local Bradenton Jersey Mike’s Subs serving as event partners throughout the weekend.
