More U.S. fans paying attention to women’s sports, but large gap still exists

New data from National Research Group shows that while more U.S. sports fans are watching and paying attention to women’s sports, there is still plenty of room for growth. The study, conducted this month among 2,500 respondents in partnership with Ampere Analysis, shows almost a third of fans are watching more games than they once did, and as a result, the broadcast market for women’s sports has enjoyed double-digit growth in most territories.
