Pensacola, Fla. /SPORTSWIRE WOMEN/ – Recognizing the strength, resilience and spirit of women in the running community, the 2024 Publix Pensacola Double Bridge Run, presented by aDoor Real Estate, aims to create an empowering experience for female participants.
Limited to 4,000 runners, the Double Bridge Run has become renowned for its challenging course and breathtaking scenery. With slots filling up rapidly, women runners are encouraged to secure their spots. Registration is $80 for the 15k and $65 for the 5K. Runners can register online at pensacolasports.org.
Dubbed “the race with a view,” the Publix Pensacola Double Bridge Run is one of the premier 15K races in the country, offering a picturesque route through historic districts and over two bridges across Pensacola Bay and Santa Rosa Sound. The race begins in Downtown Pensacola, traverses Bayfront Parkway, crosses the “Three-Mile” bridge, winds through Gulf Breeze, and concludes at the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk on Pensacola Beach.
Following the race, celebrate with friends and fellow runners at an exclusive after-party with awards, music, food, and drinks on the beautiful white sands of Pensacola Beach. This event not only promises a unique racing experience but also an opportunity for women to celebrate their accomplishments.
