Victoria, B.C. January 13, 2023 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Girls Gone Gravel and Feisty Media are thrilled to announce that The Gone Graveling Festival presented by BMC will be returning to Bentonville, AR for a second year. The event, which celebrates all things gravel cycling, will take place on the weekend of May 11-13, 2023.
Last year’s festival was a huge success, drawing cyclists from all over the country to Bentonville to participate in a variety of gravel-centric events, including group rides, community-building activities, workshops, and clinics. This year’s festival promises to be even bigger and better, with an expanded schedule of activities, including new ride options for participants and a wider range of clinics for riders of all skill levels.
The festival will also feature a vendor village, where attendees can check out the latest in gravel-specific gear and meet with representatives from some of the top brands in the industry. There will be opening and closing parties and plenty of other fun activities to keep participants entertained throughout the weekend. Vendor and sponsorship opportunities are currently available for any brand or organization that wants to build a relationship with women who are eager to learn about their offerings.
Event director Aimee Ross believes the event fills a unique need for the participants:
“With the continued growth of gravel cycling in the United States, an event like The Gone Graveling Festival makes perfect sense. The event creates a space for all women-identifying riders from avid gravel cyclists to those just getting into the space, to learn, build relationships, and develop a lasting love for this sport and the people in it.”
Festival sponsors and partners found the 2022 event to offer significant connections and return on investment. Brands were not only able to create unique experiences for attendees but also saw that the women’s market is ready and willing to spend money at an event.
Joan Hanscom, the Marketing Manager for BMC is excited to partner with this event for a second year because ‘‘2022 was tremendous – we were able to create a really welcoming, powerful, and intimate experience with riders from all around the country and share our stoke for gravel, bikes, and community throughout the weekend. Our team can’t wait to go back and see everyone again.’
