The LPGA apologized to fans attending the Solheim Cup on Friday morning after shuttle bus issues led to significant delays for thousands of spectators trying to get to Robert Trent Jones Golf Club just outside of Washington, D.C.

The 2,000-seat stadium grandstands built around the first tee box were only roughly half full when the four opening alternate-shot sessions began just after 7 a.m. ET.
