New training seeks to prevent sexual harassment in the outdoor industry

On March 4, Seekhaven Family Crisis and Resource Center—a Utah-based violence and sexual-assault shelter—will partner with Futures Without Violence in a virtual training seminar – Seekhaven – that will give attendees a toolkit to effectively respond to gender-based violence and harassment in outdoor-industry work settings. Some of the topics discussed will include how to recognize industry-specific manifestations of violence, how sexual assault and harassment impact victims, and what can be done to prevent harassment in the workplace.  Outside
