Simone Biles, online mental health care company Cerebral end partnership

Simone Biles and telehealth provider Cerebral Inc. have ended their partnership.

Biles was announced as Cerebral’s chief impact officer in October 2021 and part of a partnership called “Simone Biles x Cerebral.” Biles’ contract ended earlier this year and was not extended.

Cerebral, a company that offers online therapy, mental health assessments and care for conditions including anxiety, depression and insomnia and ships medications, may have pressured health care providers to prescribe stimulants like the attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder treatment Adderall. Cerebral has denied the accusations and says it is cooperating with a federal investigation looking into possible violations of the Controlled Substance Act. BizJournals
