Michele Kang launches first global multi-team women’s soccer organisation

Kang becomes the first person to own an international organisation entirely dedicated to women’s soccer. KIH, which is central to Kang’s mission, aims to raise US$100 million to support its goals. Kang will contribute US$50 million in combined seed funding and matching funds to support KIH.

Under Kynisca, the National Women’s Soccer League’s (NWSL) Spirit, French side Lyon Féminin and English outfit London City, will retain their own established identity, heritage and community, with the ownership planning to continue to invest to upgrade infrastructure and grow the fanbase for each team.
