Marriott Is Finally Getting a Luxury Wellness Brand—and the Locations Are Total Dream

April 2, 2026

Marriott International has announced a new luxury‑wellness brand under its portfolio, teaming up with Italy’s Lefay Resorts through a joint venture to bring high‑end wellness resorts into the Marriott Bonvoy ecosystem.

Marriott is adding Lefay as its 39th brand and the first in its portfolio dedicated exclusively to luxury wellness, blending Lefay’s holistic “Spa Method” with Marriott’s global scale and Bonvoy loyalty program. Under the agreement, existing Lefay properties will soon accept Marriott Bonvoy points, giving loyalty members access to immersive wellness programming rather than just traditional hotel stays.

Two flagship Italian resorts—Lefay Resort & Spa Lago di Garda and Lefay Resort & Spa Dolomiti—will anchor the brand’s rollout, offering multi‑day wellness programs, spa treatments, and nature‑immersed settings such as Lake Garda and the Dolomites. Guests can choose structured “immersive” wellness packages or à‑la‑carte spa services, all while leveraging the reliability and redemption flexibility of Marriott Bonvoy.

Marriott plans to expand Lefay beyond Italy, with at least three additional properties already in the pipeline, including locations in Tuscany and the Swiss Alps, and further global growth expected as the brand integrates into Marriott’s worldwide network. The move positions Marriott to compete more directly with other luxury‑wellness portfolios like Hyatt’s Miraval and IHG’s Six Senses, targeting travelers seeking purpose‑driven, health‑focused retreats under a major hotel brand umbrella.
