Cycling Activist Marley Blonsky Celebrates The Ragtag Best Friends Bicycle Club Book Launch at Sea Otter Classic

Her new book is launching at the same time as her new kit with SHREDLY—and both are a celebration of cycling!

MONTEREY, CA /SPORTSWIRE WOMEN/ – Strong Girl Publishing, SHREDLY and All Bodies on Bikes co-founder Marley Blonsky are bringing the joy of inclusive cycling to the Sea Otter Classic next weekend, celebrating the release of Blonksy’s new children’s picture book The Ragtag Best Friends Bicycle Club: A Story About Riding Your Own Way, which launches on Wednesday, April 15, and the launch of her signature SHREDLY kit and matching Littles Shorts (both inspired by the book!).

Blonsky will be on-site at Sea Otter all weekend for readings, a kit launch, and press availability.

The Ragtag Best Friends Bicycle Club is a picture book that follows a group of kids who don’t all look like “typical cyclists.” And that’s exactly the point. “This book is the story I wish I’d had as a kid. It’s for every child who’s ever felt left out or doubted whether they belong—on a bike, in sport, or anywhere else,” says Marley Blonsky.

The story celebrates the power of community and the freedom of riding—whether it’s racing, adventuring, popping wheelies, or just riding to visit a friend… or to get ice cream. At its core, The Ragtag Best Friends Bicycle Club reminds kids that they don’t have to fit a mold to be part of the cycling world.

This is Blonsky’s debut children’s book and a natural extension of her work as a leading voice in cycling advocacy and inclusion. The book aligns perfectly with Strong Girl Publishing’s mission to amplify stories that reflect strength, individuality, and community.
