Garmin and Natural Cycles integrate skin temperature data for fertility insights
March 31, 2026
Garmin has announced a product integration with Natural Cycles that allows compatible smartwatches to sync skin temperature data directly with the fertility tracking app. By tracking overnight temperature changes on devices such as the fenix 8, Forerunner 570, Forerunner 970, Venu 4, and Venu X1, users can unlock fertility insights within the Natural Cycles platform.
Natural Cycles is a digital health app intended to prevent or plan pregnancy by analysing body temperature and other key fertility indicators. With this new integration, users can wear their Garmin smartwatch to bed to track skin temperature, which is then automatically synced with the app the following morning to determine a user’s unique daily fertility status.
Susan Lyman, Vice President of Consumer Sales and Marketing at Garmin, said “Women all over the world utilise Garmin products for activity and health tracking, which is why this integration with Natural Cycles, a pioneer in women’s digital health, is so important.
“As we continue to help women meet their fitness and wellness goals, we are proud that Garmin skin temperature can be used within the Natural Cycles app for those looking for a non-hormonal approach to birth control.”
According to the company, the integration marks a significant step in expanding its wearable ecosystem for women’s health. The feature is currently available to users in the United Kingdom, United States, Australia, Brazil, Canada, the European Union, Norway, Singapore, and Switzerland. Endurance Biz
