Serena Williams’ Trading Card Nets $266,000 at Auction, Doubling The Record for a Female Athlete

Sports Illustrated (SI) reports Ken Goldin, founder of Goldin Auctions, tweeted that a 2003 Serena Williams NetPro signed rookie trading card sold for $266,000 last weekend. The Athletic added the sale more than doubled the previous record of $117,000, set in January after a bidder purchased Williams 1999 SI for Kids rookie card. Black Enterprise
