The Sports Bra, Portland’s first-of-its-kind bar dedicated 100% to televising women’s sports, has officially launched a regulation crowdfunding campaign. The move is designed to raise up to $1.2 million in capital, allowing everyday fans and small-scale investors to own a literal piece of the business for a minimum investment of just $250.

Since opening its doors in Northeast Portland in 2022, the establishment has grown from a local novelty into a national cultural touchstone. Founded by Jenny Nguyen, the bar generated nearly $1 million in revenue in its first eight months alone, capturing global media attention and proving the commercial viability of women’s sports fandom in the hospitality industry. Now, the brand is looking to scale that momentum nationwide.
