The USA Endurance Events Race Offers A Luxury Racing Experience To Lucky Participants

DALLAS/SPORTSWIRE WOMEN/ – On your mark. Get set. Go! USA Endurance Events, a road race company offering luxury racing experiences in select cities throughout the U.S., has chosen Dallas for its upcoming USA Women’s Half Marathon on Saturday, Oct. 28, at White Rock Lake.

Since 2013, USA Endurance Events has hosted a series of luxury “race-cations” each year in cities including San Diego, The Hamptons, Martha’s Vineyard, Seattle, Key West, and more. For a registration fee of $189, participants receive a Kendra Scott sterling silver custom necklace and pendant presented by men in tuxedos, a Lululemon finisher’s shirt, professional race photos, a custom tote bag with an array of swag, champagne mimosas, and a continental breakfast at the finish line, as well as complimentary massages, yoga classes, and other perks.

The overall first, second, and third-place winners will receive custom, personalized champagne glasses. A portion of the proceeds from each race benefits a specific charity in the city it’s being held in, with the Dallas race benefitting Make-A-Wish North Texas.

“We’re incredibly grateful to partner with USA Endurance Events this year,” said Murphey Sears, Chief Development Officer for Make-A-Wish North Texas. “More than 1,100 children in our chapter are waiting to experience the transformational impact of a wish right now, and the funds raised from this event will truly make an impact.”

To ensure runners receive the most quality experience possible, and to give high-end vendor partners, such as Kendra Scott and Lululemon, time to create custom swag, registrants had to enter a lottery in the spring to be selected for the race, with 1.8K being chosen to participate. Men are welcome to register and will receive the same swag but have the option to select a men’s Lululemon finisher’s shirt. Owner and Race Director, Lee Ann Yarbor, designed the races this way to ensure runners enjoy every moment.

“What sets us apart from other races is that we have no desire to be another mega race company,” Yarbor said. “We think about our runners and what they want. We pride ourselves on limiting the number of participants, so the runner has a successful and enjoyable run without feeling like they are jockeying for a position. We feel our participants work hard and spend money traveling to our events. We want to reward them with cool, quality swag, and an experience they’ll never forget.”

An avid runner and California native, Yarbor has run more than 60 marathons in 38 states. She started coaching running clubs in San Diego more than a decade ago. After launching her own running club, San Diego Run Club, in 2012, she decided to set her sights on creating San Diego’s first Holiday Half Marathon. When the race began selling out each year, she knew it was time to start launching other races throughout the country.

She said the team chose Dallas for this month’s race because of its energy, vibrancy, and its proximity to an array of entertainment, dining, and hotels.

“It doesn’t get much prettier than the course we have planned around White Rock Lake,” Yarbor said. “This is such a thriving city and there are so many people here with a real passion for this sport. My goal is to see these races continue to grow and change people’s lives. We want to keep adding more and more runners each year so they can live and accomplish their dreams of crossing that finish line.”
