USC to Build $38 Million Women’s Soccer, Lacrosse Stadium

USC’s women’s soccer and lacrosse programs are getting a new $38 million home called Rawlinson Stadium. The stadium is set to open in 2025 and will more than double the seating capacity for fans compared to the school’s current women’s soccer and lacrosse field.

The Fritz B. Burns Foundation donated $10 million to fund USC’s new project, which will cost $38 million in total. Construction will begin later this year on the site of Soni McAlister Field, the current home for USC’s women’s soccer and lacrosse programs that have been used since 1998 and is limited to 1,000 spectators. USC released renderings of Rawlinson Stadium on Monday.
