WNBA’s Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier launching offseason basketball league

The New York Liberty’s Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier of the Minnesota Lynx are launching a new women’s basketball league to give Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) players the chance to play domestically in the offseason rather than abroad.

Stewart and Collier told ESPN that the new league, called ‘Unrivaled’, will run from January to March and feature 30 top WNBA players on six teams playing three-on-three games at a soundstage in Miami. SP
