Women’s PGA Championship raises prize purse to US$9m for 2022

The organisers of the Women’s PGA Championship have announced that the prize money for the golf major will rise to US$9 million for 2022, doubling the purse from last year. The latest prize pot marks a 300 per cent increase from what the tournament offered in 2014, when the total pool was US$2.25 million. SP
