Boston Legacy Football Club Appoints Jennifer van Dijk as Team President

Boston Legacy Football Club today announced the appointment of Jennifer van Dijk as Team President, a key leadership role as the club prepares to kick off its inaugural season at Gillette Stadium in 2026. van Dijk will oversee all business operations and help shape the club’s long-term strategic vision as it enters a transformative moment for women’s professional soccer.

van Dijk joins the club after spending the last two years as the Chief Executive Officer of Superplastic, a character-driven animation company with a global following and a robust multi-platform presence across digital media, games, merchandise, and television. Prior to joining Superplastic, van Dijk spent more than twenty years in major sports partnerships and digital innovation at IMG, Wasserman, and the NBA. Boston Legacy Football Club
