Roku Launches WNBA Zone for 2026 Season

May 6, 2026

Roku has launched the WNBA Zone, a dedicated streaming hub for the 2026 WABBA season, designed to centralize live games, scores, highlights, and other league content in one place on Roku devices in the U.S. The Zone makes it easier for fans to find and watch WNBA action without having to hunt across multiple apps or services.

The experience surfaces live matchups as they happen and automatically prioritizes viewing options based on the user’s existing subscriptions, letting viewers jump straight into games broadcast by national partners or streaming services. Fans can also “favorite” specific teams to get mobile tune‑in reminders and a personalized feed of highlights and clips, while the WNBA League Pass can be subscribed to or managed directly within the WNBA app embedded in the Zone.

This partnership is part of Roku’s broader push to streamline sports viewing through league‑specific “Zones,” following similar efforts with the NBA and NWSL. With WNBA viewership and interest at an all‑time high, both Roku and the WNBA say the Zone aims to simplify how fans discover and engage with the league. Media Play
