Walmart and Deloitte join the 2022 Gone Graveling Festival Lineup as Primary Sponsors

Victoria, B.C. – March 21, 2022 /SPORTSWIRE WOMEN/ – Girls Gone Gravel and Feisty Media are proud to announce Walmart and Deloitte as major sponsors of the Gone Graveling Women’s Festival. Over 250 women from around the country will gather in Bentonville, Arkansas from April 28 – May 1, 2022, for the inaugural event. The festival will include three days of educational clinics, group rides, entertainment, and community gatherings.

Festival Founder Kathryn Taylor said: “‘From the moment I arrived in Bentonville, I was impressed with the investment Walmart had made in the local community. As I’ve gotten to know the company, I continue to be impressed with its commitment to women’s health. Likewise, Deloitte is a globally recognized leader of women’s empowerment and we are excited that they can join forces with Walmart and our other sponsors to make this event the strongest women’s specific bike ride in the US.”

Part of the sponsorship support from Walmart and Deloitte will create scholarships for women who have traditionally been excluded from cycling. Thanks to Walmart, Deloitte, Diamondbike Bikes, Kask, Koo, and Floyd’s of Leadville Racing, the festival will fund 10 scholarships for BIPOC women. Additionally, Walmart and Deloitte will co-sponsor an opening reception that will feature leading women leaders to discuss women’s health and empowerment issues.
