WNBA Star Kelsey Plum Joins Adidas Women’s Basketball Roster

June 11, 2026

WNBA star Kelsey Plum has officially signed with Adidas Basketball, joining the brand in a new campaign for Anthony Edwards’ latest sneaker, the “Believe That 1” Takedown model. The signing was confirmed through Adidas’ social media, which revealed Plum’s appearance in the promotional material alongside Edwards. This marks a major shift in women’s basketball footwear, as Plum becomes part of Adidas’ star-studded WNBA roster that includes Aliyah Boston, Chelsea Gray, Satou Sabally, and Nneka Ogwumike.

The partnership comes just 13 days after Plum’s official exit from Under Armour, where she had been a face of the brand’s women’s basketball division for approximately four years. The split with Under Armour was confirmed in April 2026 after months of public friction, during which Plum wore Adidas shoes during Team USA practices and Unrivaled games while still technically under contract.

Plum, a Los Angeles Sparks guard and Olympic champion, has been wearing Adidas kicks publicly since January 2026, signaling her imminent brand transition. Her signing strengthens Adidas’ presence in women’s basketball as the WNBA continues experiencing significant growth in popularity and commercial interest. WWD
